Summary of the Article
This article focuses on some of the surviving traditions in other parts of Greece. It's a festive event where people eat, dance, and play. Dedication and traditional values come into play with this article. This also communicates with those who share the mutual culture and values.
Thoughts, Emotions, and Observations about Cultural Activity in the Article
I know this article was written awhile ago, but I find it fascinating how many parts of Greece are still incorporating older Greek culture into their lives, and celebrating culture with song, dance, and art. It wasn't just one group of people who were still accustomed to their Greek roots, but it was a whole neighborhood! There were local businesses, shops, and churches that aspired to keep the tradition going, and that is very inspirational.
How This Relates to Culture
This relates to culture because in some and many cultures the cultural Greek festivities will never die. This goes for basically tons of cultures in this sense. No matter how long ago our ancestors have immigrated to any place,we will still have our roots, we always will. But all of this comes to play if the part of that country is trying to keep their culture alive, and in this case, this article was showing a wonderful example of that, with it's festive and culture-loving theme.
